Exodus Movie

There are many Christian videos on demand online to watch for free but the biblical version of the Exodus movie is one I highly recommend. I am sure we have all seen Hollywood’s version of the “Ten Commandments” and knows that there isn’t much bible scripture included except the when Moses was parting the Red Sea.

God chose Moses as the “deliverer” for His people as you will see in the Exodus movie. The Hebrews had been in bondage for 400 years in Egypt. The King, at that time, had ordered the killing of all newborns. Moses’ was placed in a basket and sent down the Nile River by his parents. Bithia’s maidens found the basket floating down the river. Pharaoh’s daughter, Bithiah, raised Moses as an Egyptian child until it was time for his destiny to be fulfilled.

Facts about Moses

  1. Moses was the son of Amram and Jochebed and was from the tribe of Levi.
  2. His brother was Aaron and his sister was Miriam
  3. God revealed himself first to Moses at Mt Sinai where he saw the burning bush.
  4. Moses led the people to dry land after God parted the Red Sea
  5. He delivered the Ten Commandments to the people at Mt Sinai after leading the Israelites out of Egypt
  6. Moses was not allowed to cross over to the promised land because he disobeyed.
