Faith is not something you can touch, feel, smell or taste. But, we all have faith in something or someone. To have faith is a belief, a trusting and a hope. Your faith may be stronger or not so strong as someone else’s. We “walk by faith and not by sight” every day of our lives. You have faith that your alarm clock will go off at the correct time to wake you for work. You have faith that your car will start when you turn the key. The list is endless when it comes to having faith.
Our spiritual or Christian faith is similar. Being a Christian myself, I have faith in Jesus. He said in Luke 17:6, The mustard seed parable “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, “Be uprooted and planted in the sea,” and it would obey you. What He was saying is that your faith, your belief, your hope in Him can accomplish anything. Remember when Peter walked on the water? Because Peter was trusting and believing in Jesus, he walked on the water because of his faith. He had the faith that the water would support him. He trusted in Jesus and believed that he could do it. In the Book of Acts movie you will learn how the Christian disciples and the Apostles followed Jesus and performed many creative miracles themselves.
Heart of a Servant
To have faith means to love Him. With all our heart, strength and might. The scripture in Hebrews 11:6 says “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” Trusting something or someone takes faith. As we grow and mature in our walk with the Lord, our faith becomes even stronger. He will reveal things and you will have personal experiences with Him. This lets you know that our Father is real. Having the “Heart of a Servant” is precious and lets God know that He can trust you. Apostle Craig S. Banks has written the perfect book on how you can have “the heart of a servant”. Watch and listen as he preaches anointed Sunday sermons at Say Amen TV.
Have Faith to Seek the Lord
It takes desire and diligence to seek the Lord. This itself requires us to have faith. Without faith in Christ Jesus, we are lost. Find your purpose in life, what God has for you. Find out who you are and what He wants you to do while here on this earth. Have faith that once you surrender your heart to Jesus, that the Holy Spirit will lead and guide, teach you and counsel you. He said be as a child. Children rely on their natural parents to feed and love them. “To have faith in God is the same. He is our spiritual Father who loves us unconditionally. He loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus Crucifixion was the sacrifice for our sins so that we would have eternal salvation. Can you imagine Jesus Mother Mary, how she must have felt when they took her son Jesus who was conceived by a supernatural event, to be hung on a cross?
Did you know that by the stripes that Jesus took on His back, we are already healed in our bodies, We just to have faith and believe that His word is true. Confess it with our mouths and decree and declare it. Healing in your body could be a 30 minute prayer, if you have faith.
Surrender Your Heart
“you can’t fix you!”
I know that there are a lot of people that want to give their hearts to Jesus but think they have to get their “life in order” before they do. But, I am here to tell them and you that “you can’t fix you!” Jesus said to come as you are. Broken, hurting, confused or whatever. Have faith that He can makes things right in your life today. Because He will. I am a living testimony, He did it for me! It was the greatest and best thing I have ever done in my life and I thank God for His mercy. I thank Him for allowing me the privilege and honor to be in His presence. Don’t waste another minute of your life without Jesus, Lord and Savior. Watch the Jesus Christ movie for yourself and see that He is the only way, the truth and the life. Without Him we are nothing. But, with Him we are and have everything we need to be happy, have joy, be successful. Because we have faith in Him, we can fulfill the calling that He has for each and every one of us. We were created for Him, not the other way around.
