2022Adventure Missions

Adventure Missions

Adventure Missions

Are you and the family ready to set off on your first adventure missions tour? You will have some experiences that will be life-changing. Your whole outlook on how to fulfill your calling as one of God’s servants in His vineyard will become more clear. Traveling to beautiful continents like Africa will reveal to you a new and different culture. You will have the opportunity to have an “up-close” look at the many animals most of us have only seen on the National Geographic channel.

Short Term Missions

Start with a “short-term” adventure mission. Get your “feet wet” so to speak. Test the waters to see how and what other global mission organizations are doing in other countries. When you and the family become a part of or are involved in your adventure missions, you will get the opportunity to interact with the people in their local community. Your help is needed and appreciated in feeding the children, handing out clothing or simply being a loving pair of arms to those who need a hug.

Missions Volunteer

If you have love in your heart and want to serve others who are less fortunate, adventure missions should be a perfect fit for you. Your children will gain an understanding, firsthand, of what it’s like to go without running water, air-conditioned homes, and a soft bed. They will be much more appreciative when you get back home. It will also instill good moral values and help them understand how to “love others” without prejudice. Like Jesus! Consider an adventure missions trip for your next “getaway” by becoming a missions volunteer. These people give tirelessly of their love, time, and finances.

Mission Adventure Videos

Video on demand plays a major role in sharing some of the hardships. It brings awareness of all the Godsent missionaries and missionary stories from around the world. It gives you an opportunity to visit “ground zero” without having to be there. KNVB.org is excited about the mission that God has placed on our hearts.

Contact your local or an online mission organization for scheduled adventure missions and the details. Next, decide on what country you would like to visit and get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! Also, share your videos and the work being done to help change the lives of others for the better.

Email us at info@kncb.org for more information on how to partner with us. Or, enjoy one of the inspirational Christian videos right here at KNCB.org.

2010Jesus Second Coming

Jesus Second Coming

The Second Coming of Jesus

Christian and non-Christian movements have various views about Jesus’ Second Coming. False prophets tried to predict it. Sadly, some believed them. It’s God’s Secret! As stated by Moses in  Deuteronomy 29:29 (NLT) ”The LORD our God has secrets known to no one…”. Jesus’ teachings included details of His Return. He told His Christian Disciples in Matthew 24:36 (ISV)“No one knows when that day or hour will come – not the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father,…”

The birth of Jesus Christ was the first time He came to earth. Prophesied by Old Testament prophets the Messiah King was born. The return will usher Him in as the Millennium King. As a baby, He was born “King of the Jews. Unfortunately, no one noticed or recognized Him as a king.

The King of Kings

This will be a time of rejoicing for some and a time of regret for others. Jesus’ Birth was God’s gift of salvation to every nation. Believers will receive eternal salvation. Those who rejected Him will be given everlasting damnation. First, He came as a humble Lamb. This time He will come as the Powerful Lion of the Tribe of Judah. He will reign as King of Kings and rule as “Lord of Lords.” As stated by Jesus in Romans 14 and 11 “As I live says the Lord every knee shall bow to me and that every tongue shall confess to God.” The Second Advent of Jesus will be the greatest of all supernatural events.

The apostolic ministry of Apostle John left us with supernatural details of His return.  While exiled, John of Patmos received a download of the “Book of Revelation” or the “Apocalypse.” It is a book of divine secrets. There are references to Old Testament prophets and 7 apocalyptic events. The events are:

  • The 7 churches
  • Seven seals
  • The 7 trumpets
  • 7 spiritual figures
  • Seven plagues
  • The seven spiritual signs
  • Seven final visions

”Surely I come quickly.”

Here is beautiful imagery of the new heaven and earth. Finally, Revelation 22:20 contains Jesus’ last words of warning.”Surely I come quickly.” Do not get “left behind.”

Jesus Is Coming

God’s promises about Jesus’ return are “Yes” and “ Amen.”  The Calendar of God is different from man’s calendar. Peter 2 Chapter 3 verse 8 God’s Word Translation Bible states “Dear friends, don’t ignore this fact: One day with the Lord is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day.” On God’s schedule, Jesus has been gone a little over 2 days. Be ready, ALWAYS!

Great Christian gospel praise and worship songs also speak of Jesus’ return. “Days of Elijah” written by Robin Mark and recorded by Judy Jacobs refers to Christ’s return. The angels sang at Jesus’ First Coming, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.” According to John in Revelation 14:2-3(KJV) there will be singing. “…and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: and they sang as it were a new song before the throne……….”

It will be the “eternal knock-down, drag-out-of-the-earth blow for Satan. Jesus’ Resurrection was only just the beginning. His return will usher in the eternal world order. In other words, a southern gospel quartet sings on online Christian gospel radio about Jesus’ Return Tell the world. Jesus is Coming Back! Tell the world Jesus is coming soon.”

How has His return affected your life and ministry? Share your testimony. Also visit us at KNCB.ORG for free online sermons, free Christian movies such as the Revelation Movie, Christian gospel songs, and more. We look forward to hearing from you!

1957Christian Gospel

Christian Gospel

Christian Gospel

It has been said that there is no business like show business. More importantly, there is no business like God’s business. There’s no music like gospel music or Christian gospel. Learn some amazing facts about Christian gospel.

What is Christian gospel? Christian gospel has a twofold meaning. First, it refers to the written accounts of Jesus life in the Four Gospels. On the other hand, it refers to music written by those who want to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How has gospel music changed through the years and throughout the nations?

Song of Praise

Psalms or hymns were the Christian gospel songs for Temple worship in the Old and the New Testament. The term “hymn” comes from the Greek term “Hymnos”. It means “song of praise”. Tehillim is Hebrew for Psalms. It means “praises.” The Greek term for Psalms is “psalmoi.” It means “instrumental music.” David was the world’s greatest Christian Gospel artist. His Christian gospel songs are still being used today. He wrote hymns to His God of gods. Greeks, Egyptians and those in other cultures also wrote hymns to their gods.

Jesus sang Christian gospel music to His Father, God. In Matthew Chapter 26 verse 30 Jesus sang with His disciples at the Last Supper.

“And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the Mount Olives.”

Some researchers believe it was Psalm 118 a Jewish prayer of praise and thanksgiving. Psalms 118:1 states “O Give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good: because His mercy endureth forever.”

Centuries later traditional religious hymns became the new genre of Christian gospel songs.
The Reformation and other movements affected Church music. New hymn themes were the result of new religious doctrines and practices. Martin Luther, a German Christian gospel artist, wrote “A Mighty Fortress is Our God.” It is called the “Battle Hymn of the Reformation.” It paraphrases Psalms 46. Martin Luther used the “95 theses” to challenge the Roman Catholic Church. It’s split led to Lutheranism.

Encourage Others

Christian gospel includes writing about personal challenges to encourage others. In Colossians 3:16 of the New Living Translation Paul concludes “….Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.” An Irish Christian gospel song artist, Joseph M. Scriven, wrote a famous American, Christian gospel hymn. His life story included the death of two future brides. His first bride-to-be died in an accident. His next fiance’ became ill. She died right before the wedding. Shortly after her death, his mother became sick. He was unable to visit her. He wrote her a poem entitled “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.” After his life’s journey, it was set to music by Charles C. Converse. “I Am a Friend of God” by Israel Houghton. This can be considered a contemporary version of the song.

Christian gospel songs include the life and mission of Jesus Christ. For example, “Mary Did You Know?” was written and recorded by Christian songwriters and singers Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene. It was also recorded by other Christian gospel artists. This beautiful song travels the world. It shares Jesus’ earthly mission. It mentions Jesus’ Mother Mary, Jesus birth and Jesus ministry. Jesus Death, and Jesus’ Second Coming are also mentioned.

Message of Jesus

Today, computer technology has caused a “Christian gospel,” music genre explosion. Unbelievable styles, rhythms, tempos and state-of-the-art musical instruments as well as songwriting equipment have been developed. Today, Christian gospel artists, such as Southern gospel quartet groups, still sing psalms and hymns. However, there are different tunes and beats. More importantly, the message of Jesus remains.
