Christian Entrepreneur drawing on glass

Christian Entrepreneur

A Christian entrepreneur is a person or persons that have a vision, a concept, a business idea and is willing to and has a drive for success. Entrepreneurs have a strong desire to see their ideas come to life, regardless of the time and sometimes money they have to put into it. There is Christian entrepreneurship in all of us.

A Christian entrepreneur is someone who has a destiny. They are problem solvers and create solutions. I have read many stories and articles on some of the richest people in the world. They don’t even have a high school education. What they do have is drive and desire, diligence and persistence.

Becoming a Christian Entrepreneur

Many Christian businesses were started with a vision given by God and had the faith needed to pursue their vision and dreams for the Kingdom of God and His people. Becoming a Christian entrepreneur will take a great deal of faith and believe in what you are trying to accomplish. You can’t be wishy washy about becoming or starting a Christian home based business for example.

Being a Christian entrepreneur is not like working in the corporate world working for someone else and drawing a regular paycheck every week. No, your faith in God will be stretched to limits you didn’t know you had. I know this for a fact, because my husband and I are entrepreneurs ourselves. It hasn’t been all easy, but it has been a test of our faith, challenging, and rewarding. Now we feel so privileged to know what we do.

Pursue Your Vision as an Entrepreneur

If you are deciding to pursue your vision, your dream or inventions and become an entrepreneur, I encourage you to do so. You will first need to make sure you understand as much as you can about starting your own business and becoming a Christian entrepreneur. I am not saying you will not know everything before you begin because you will learn a whole lot along the way. Most of all, you will need faith in God and believe in the power that is within you. You are a winner, the head and not the tail. The bible says in

Deuteronomy 8:18
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

We are made in His image and we can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us. You can do it!

Internet Entrepreneur
With the Internet being so new, there is still a lot of room for Christian Internet entrepreneurs especially. I have heard from many people that there is nothing good on the Internet. Well, I can honestly say that are some great Christian entrepreneurs that have their own Christian broadcasting networks on the Internet. They provide Christian cooking shows and Christian news about what the Kingdom of God is doing around the world.

It is time for the Christian body to make a difference in this world at a greater level. There are so many opportunities as a Christian. What has the Lord placed in your heart? Has it been there a while but don’t quite know how to begin? Take the first step into the unknown and trust that God will make a way.

Write the Vision Down

First, you will need a business plan. Write it down and make it plain the best you can so that others can understand it. Start making connections with other Christian based businesses and people that are already working in the same field. And, think about what kind of help will be needed along the way. Take a business course at your local Community College and an online course. Take that next step, you will be glad you did.

We would love to hear your testimony or how you got started. What is your Christian business as an entrepreneur. If you have any ideas, comments or have any questions, leave them in the comment section below. Be sure to share this with your family and friends and follow us on Facebook.

Be Blessed
