Overseer Mia J. Jackson is a member of Upon This Rock Faith Ministry in Riverdale, Georgia. She has served faithfully as Pastor and Co-Founder in the ministry since November 2017 under the leadership of Apostle Keith R. Jackson Sr. Overseer Mia J. Jackson was ordained as Evangelist in the year of our LORD 2019 at Upon This Rock Faith Ministry under the leadership of her husband. Therefore, she is licensed to preach the gospel of JESUS CHRIST. Overseer Mia J. Jackson wears many hats within the ministry. Overseer Jackson also serves as Worship Leader of the Praise Team at Upon This Rock Faith Ministry. She also serves and is the founder and director of The Women’s Ministry at Upon This Rock Faith Ministry. While serving as founder of the Women’s Ministry she petitioned the LORD to name the Women’s Ministry; G.U.M which stands for GOD Use Me.

During her tenure serving the LORD’s church she received elevation as a reward for her faithfulness to GOD. She was consecrated and affirmed as Prophetess in October 2020. Later, she was appointed Overseer Designate in September 2021. 

Overseer Mia J. Jackson was born in Detroit, Michigan. In the year of our LORD 1986, Overseer Jackson relocated to Atlanta, GA. The relocation to Atlanta is where she found her Boaz Keith R. Jackson. Currently, she has been married to Apostle Keith R. Jackson Sr. since April 16, 1988. This union consisted of her becoming a mother of two sons. She is also a proud grandmother of one grandson.  Overseer Jackson received the LORD in her life at the tender age of twelve at Burnette Baptist Church Detroit, Michigan under the leadership of Dr. J Allen Caldwell Pastor and Founder. In the year of our LORD 1993 Overseer Mia J. Jackson rededicated her life to CHRIST. This occurred at New Macedonia Baptist Church in Riverdale, GA under the leadership of Pastor Gerry T. Anderson.

Prior to Upon This Rock Faith Ministry being founded, Overseer Mia J. Jackson served in many capacities within the LORD’s church. She served two consecutive terms as President of the G.T. Anderson Ensemble at New Macedonia Baptist Church of Riverdale, GA.  While at New Macedonia Baptist Church, she sang with Valencia Dennard and the “Just Family” gospel group. In September 2014, she received ordination as Deaconess at Voices of Faith South under the leadership of Pastor James T. Murkison.  She also was a member of the Praise and Worship Team at Voices of Faith South. In addition, she served as an Armor Bearer for Lady Valerie Murkison. Later, Overseer Mia J. Jackson became a member of the Gospel group “Cynthia Coleman” and “GOD’s Seeds of Joy.”

Overseer Mia J. Jackson is a Manager within the apartment housing industry where she has many years of experience and service. She is now content in her faith, her calling, and her election into the LORD’s Church, and in the Body of CHRIST.  Overseer Mia J. Jackson is fully persuaded and forever encouraged, believing that her safe place will forever be in the Will of GOD. She is confident that it is there where she will be provided with all of the best that GOD has to offer. Not only to her but to those who dare to trust in GOD’s Process and know that without a shadow of a doubt, GOD will always have your best interest at heart!
