The gospel of Jesus Christ is the gospel of “good news.” In the Greek New Testament, the word “gospel” means “good news.” The good news of the gospel is – God loves you! His love for you is all wrapped up in the birth of Jesus, the ministry of Jesus, the death of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
To develop an understanding of the gospel is to know that it is a message about God’s “unconditional love” for you, found in the life and teachings of Jesus. God sent His Son and called Him Jesus. Jesus’ last name, “Christ” in Greek, means the “chosen one” or “the anointed one.” God chose and anointed His Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, with Holy Ghost power or “the anointing.” This power made life better. It gave new life to those who were lost and dying in their sins. That same life-changing and life-giving power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is still alive today, ministering to hearts all over the world delivered by many through gospel media online.

Also, Shirley Caesar is famous for using black gospel lyrics in her songs to tell stories. Remember songs are poems, or stories first. Gospel lyrics are the most impacting part of the song. As a child, you may remember singing and may still know the words to some of the gospel hymns that your teacher taught you in Sunday School. For example, I’m quite sure you still remember the famous Christian hymn “Yes, Jesus Loves Me,” originally written by an American author Anna Bartlett Warner as a children’s poem. It was set to music and became a famous gospel hymn message which really tells about the unconditional love of Jesus for you.
The gospel of Jesus Christ is the world’s most powerful message. God anointed Jesus with the power of powers, the Holy Ghost. Thousands of years later, God anointed modern man with the power of creativity to design what we know as “the internet.” Though it is one of the world’s powerfulest of resources, I believe that God’s ultimate intent for this global capability was for it to be used to assist man. Used in delivering His message of power and love to the nations and to the kingdoms, despite it’s other ungodly uses.
For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14 (KJV)
