What Is Eternal Salvation
Eternal salvation is a choice we all make. No one can make the decision for you. It’s our choice given to us by our Father in Heaven. Jesus died so that we would have eternal salvation. We just have to believe and have faith. The bible says in
Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
You can confess with your mouth every day that Jesus is Lord in your life. But, if you don’t believe in your heart, you are not saved. My favorite salvation verse is:
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God is the creator of all things, heaven, and earth. But His Son, the anointed Jesus Christ, was the sacrifice for ALL sins that man has or partakes in during his life. Eternal salvation through Christ is the only way to our Father. There is no sin too great that God does not forgive but one. This is the “unpardonable sin.” That is the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
The evidence of your faith and belief in Jesus as your Lord will be seen by others. Furthermore, you will notice that you make wiser choices in life. You will lose friendship with people who are not saved. The bible says not to “yoke” ourselves with unbelievers. I know you have heard the saying “birds of a feather flock together.” Giving our life to Jesus by confessing the Sinner’s prayer is a supernatural event. As a result, we are washed in the very blood of Jesus Christ. The blood He shed at Calvary for you and me for our eternal salvation. How great is our God!
Repent of Sins
Did you know that when anyone gives their life, the angels in heaven celebrate? Because you are now a new creature in Christ Jesus or “born again,” you won’t have much in common anymore. The bible says that God hates evil. That’s because He is love. There is no darkness in Him. Repenting of your sins means to “turn away” from things in our life that are not pleasing to God. For He is Holy, we should be holy. The price for our eternal salvation was paid with a price, Jesus Christ. The Son of God. Please don’t take it for granted. Cherish and protect this gift with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.
Giving my life to Jesus was the best decision I have ever made in my life. And, you will hear this from many people. Most of all, your eternal salvation should be the top priority in your life right now. He is the truth, the way and the life. He is the light of the world. Jesus teachings are how we as Christians should live our lives. How we should treat others and what God has promised us if we are willing and obedient to His word. To walk like Jesus, to become more like Jesus and do the will of our Father.
The Prayer of Salvation
Here is a simple prayer of salvation that you can say out loud. Be sure you are confessing with your heart and not just your mouth.
Heavenly Father, I repent of my sins in the name of Jesus. I open my heart to let Jesus come inside of me. Jesus, I believe that you are my Lord and Savior. I believe you died for my sins and rose on the third day. Fill me with Lord with your Holy Spirit. Thank You Father for saving me in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Luke 24:49 “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”
These Christian disciples were the first to go out into the town and villages to spread the “good news” of Jesus Christ. They shed the light of Jesus. Healings, miracles, and deliverance from sickness and disease is ours. Watch the Lazarus movie of actual footage of a Pastor being raised from the dead. We just have to believe, walk by faith, and do the will of God. Your eternal salvation should be the number one priority in your and your family’s life. God is real and so is Satan. God is gracious and merciful. He gives us many opportunities to make things right with Him. But don’t delay, tomorrow is not promised. Jesus’s second coming will surely come to pass.
Eternal salvation is for everyone. God created us all. New creatures will experience speaking tongues as a sign of our “holy language.” Like the disciples of Jesus did during Pentecost in the upper room. They were filled with the Holy Spirit. He is our counselor and the promise, the power of God that works through His willing vessels and servants.
Christian disciples are sometimes referred to as missionaries and evangelists. Watch missionary stories from around the world here at KNCB.org. See how hundreds or thousands at one time, confess and give their hearts to Jesus. Watch free Christian movies about Jesus Ministry and the Book of Acts movie where you can see miracles and healings.
